- Blocking out services, holidays & lunch breaks;
- Тwo-way text reminders that have reduced no-shows by 70%;
- Exhaustive client profiles;
- Stock organization via a barcode scanner app;
- Reporting;
- Finances with dashboards.
Melon has been Slick’s technological partner since 2017. We have dedicated a team of back-end and front-end developers, who work closely with client’s team of developers, a designer and project manager.
For us it has been an exemplary software development project from the start. Our production team is impressed by the open and honest communication with the client, their culture of sharing and transparency, the adequate planning and their overall engagement. We’ve managed to build a long-term partnership based on trust. Both our team and the client are solution-oriented, flexible and quick to reprioritize when needed.
It’s no surprise that there were no critical challenges. Only minor difficulties that came with the growing number of salons and end users. An interesting challenge was to create a report based on the large set of historic data. As the system has been growing and developing over a long period, it naturally needed refactoring.
Together with Slick, we’ve built a stress-free salon administration system that creates and manages booking with ease and personalizes client experience for 800 salons.
Matt Millar, Slick’s CTO says: “Melon consistently delivers high-quality solutions and provides software developers who work with the same passion for our business goals as our internal team. For this reason, I’ve worked with Melon across multiple projects and multiple businesses and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other CTOs.”
